Should i see midnight in paris

Charming, Witty, Romantic. More Like This. Coming Soon. High in the Clouds. An imaginative young squirrel leads a musical revolution to save his parents from a tyrannical leader. Based on a children's book by Paul McCartney. In this coming-of-age reality series set in Austin, Texas, somethings navigate love and friendship and start a new adventure: life. I do not think that this movie would be good for younger children.

Maybe early teens and up? I'm pretty mature when I want to be, and I watched this with my parents, so even though I'm only 11, I thought this movie was very good. I highly recommend it. Smiley face! Teen, 16 years old Written by BestPicture December 19, An absolute Allen gem! It's Woody Allen at his most original, neurotic and wacky, with Wilson being the Allen surrogate for this picture. The French backdrops are beautiful, performances are great, especially the actor who played Hemingway!

I really enjoyed it, a short, quirky treasure disguised as a comedy! Kid, 11 years old July 1, There really isn't any sensitive material in it, except for brief references to sex. This romantic comedy is aimed more at adults, as older kids and even some teens might find it to be lackluster. Most characters are figures from the '20's, and some of the satire is based on their personalities. Even I didn't catch all of the witty humor intertwined in this mild, sentimental film.

My dad, who enjoys reading old authors--some of which are displayed here--understood more of the jokes. Indeed, I have not read Hemingway or Fitzgerald. When I'm older, perhaps I'll try those authors and watch this film again.

Teen, 15 years old Written by Totally April 7, Midnight in paris is great This movie is great great concept and laughter all the way. Teen, 16 years old Written by Robbyboyfye16 March 31, Kid, 11 years old March 3, Midnight in Paris This was a very good movie.

It was about a guy who traveled back in time to be with iconic artists, writers, and actors. The only real problem was that there were a few references to 'making love' and some make-out scenes. Overall this was pretty much a clean movie. But some kids may not be mature enough to understand the content. It was worthy of it's Oscar nomination. Kid, 12 years old January 7, A Certain Sophistication My daughter was having trouble with the girls in a BBM chat group and declared that she wished that she was born in a different time where people had intelligent things to say and read good books and watched good movies.

That evening we saw this movie and she was excited and relieved by the message. We loved the footage of Paris and she recognized many of the artists and writers in the film.

For us is was a thrilling movie. It requires a certain sophistication when it comes to art and writers. My daughter is twelve and found this movie to be inspiring, reassuring and fun!! Kid, 12 years old December 29, It's not cheesy, but instead, it has dazzling visuals of Paris, as well as a creative plot and pleasing cinematography. There is talk about infidelity, as well as suggestive material. Even though it's aimed at adults, I'd say that older kids can watch it, and that it mostly depends on maturity.

Either you connect with it or not. I'm wearying of movies that are for "everybody" — which means, nobody in particular. Roger Ebert was the film critic of the Chicago Sun-Times from until his death in In , he won the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished criticism. Rated PG for some sexual references and smoking.
