Naturally these people aren't terribly likable but thats forgivable as their bad aspects being brought up is the main theme of the film. Its a very engaging movie. The only bad thing about the film was towards, a couple of twists were brought up, which didn't exactly work.
Definitely worth watching though! I usually don't pay much attention to the acting, but this one was so horrendous it took me out of the movie. Beside that, it's just a Saw-like movie, without the gore and the fun. Nothing to remember. Ckn48 21 January Talk about a train reck in slow mo. Once the plane has left the ground, the confines of the plane do contribute to the movie. But bad acting and bad plot can not change the awful movie unfolding before our eyes.
Once they realised the threats were recordings not live, things did turn a little more believable but by then it was too late to rescue this plane reck,. MikeWindgren 17 July A rating below 5 is not needed, but this movie I guess suffered from a low budget. It's an okay watch, but not when you can pick another title, if you know what I mean. This film had potential, the grievances from Rupert Turner are more than understandable and it points out some plausible problems with the ever growing social media.
But it was a awful film. The acting made me want to punch myself in the face and eventually the direction of the film coincidentally plummeted to the earth. When reading the description i was intrigued, and sat down hoping for a little surprise; like something along the lines of "Tower Block" which was also a British low budget film.
Well i did end up being surprised I understand it's hard to make an impact with such a low budget, but to settle for such unconvincing actors isn't mandatory. If they cast 4 better actors this could have been a fairly good film, but they didn't.
They are annoying, extremely annoying. And it's not the characters that frustrated me, but the actors themselves and their inability to truly make me believe they where in such a situation. As i said it could've been a good film, but unless you're a movie fanatic like myself then i wouldn't bother wasting my time.
PROS: I really liked the ending. It was short, sweet, and to the point. And boy doesn't it make a point. It really restated what the director wanted to tell the audience. It was an actual resolution, which is what an ending should be. The goal is to resolve the "problem" that the movie presents, and it actually does that. The other thing I liked was how detailed the whole story was.
Every corner you could've looked at it from was thought out and was fool proof. The killer in this film had those attributes. Every action the characters took fit into who they were. There was nothing that left big question marks which was masterful because therefore nothing took away from the fear of the movie.
CONS: There was nothing really frustrating with the movie. From time to time the acting was dull, but they were still amazing and delivered the same raw genuine emotion. The start was a little slow, maybe if the intensity took place, maybe even, 10 minutes earlier I think it would've cut out some unimportant material.
Try pressing the off button bobbybits 14 November If you press the OFF button does it Stop? Well yes, as there is little point watching this film it delivers no scares at all. It being filmed almost entirely in one location, both the dialogue and the script are dreadful while the plot has more holes then a tea strainer. A villain who models himself after Big Brother while trying to be a Jigsaw but is in the form of a cartoon crocodile on a computer screen that attacks a group people from a social networking website who were selected as winners.
These people shed group tears at some of their friends who are being killed from being filmed on Blair witch cameras. You never see the witch Cheaper then my penny collection, yes it takes whack jobs to make a film like this.
What a disaster. JenEvans1 13 November This film is dreadful. It looks like it has been put together by a couple of ten year olds who cannot have spent more than half of their combined pocket money. The whole thing - apart from a few minutes at the beginning - takes place on a plane and a very small one at that and to say it is a cheap and and nasty effort is if anything generous.
None of the characters were likable, I didn't care in the slightest what happened to them and the only reason I watched it all was that I just couldn't believe it wouldn't improve. But actually I wished I hadn't watched it as the ending was so lame I could have cried.
Honestly, the whole thing has been done many times before and much - very much believe me! Why waste your time? This movie is not deserving that bad critics like awful. There are a lot of movies in this genre and style which are really awful but as a British movie in his own style with unknown characters i think its above average.
And if you like this genre and enjoy movies like this you can watch and have fun. At least there are acceptable logics and reasons of the story. Don't expect a first class movie , its law budged but still worth to watch as i say if you like this kind. You don't have to have sympathy or dislike for the characters but you can still empathize to some of events. What can I say? I like when filming scenes and actors are very limited.
That together with horror and trapped like situation is awesome combination. Love it. But yeah, the movie is independent and you really can notice it. The filming and atmosphere is kind of different than normally. It's a good thing. The negatives: I think the ending and script would be the weak point of the film. There could be a liittle more information about everything. Also the climax and ending is quite odd. I still enjoyed this movie.
It's a really good movie in it's genre. Although it's kind of used genre. Like in Saw movies. An error has occured.
